Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager facilitates and leads initiatives directed at employee growth and development, engagement, and retention. This role requires an experienced HR professional with a proven track record of delivering impactful HR programs. Additional responsibilities include helping to identify and respond to any HR-related needs within the respective functions and areas of responsibility and will help shape staffing strategies to align with the strategic needs of the organization. Skills required are excellent interpersonal, communication, project management, and analytical skills. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The position may include international human resource responsibilities. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its short-, mid- and long-range plans, its culture and its competition. This role will advise the Head of IT Operations on all matters related to developing strategic and tactical plans to align human resources with internal and external business goals and diversity standards.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Manager is responsible for the following

• Drive vision, mission and core values throughout the whole company.

• Deliver HR services and build capabilities to drive organizational performance through individuals and managers, as well as possess the mindset to increase process effectiveness and efficiency

• Responsible for HR delivery and implementation across the employee lifecycle (hire to retire)

• Partner with business managers to resolve Employee Relations (ER) issues, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and risks are assessed

• Partner with HR leaders in the US, HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Training, Org Development and other HR support functions on HR priorities in respective populations to ensure delivery and implementation of HR solutions

• Ensure escalated employee issues are resolved with urgency, and employment policies and practices are interpreted consistently

• Work with all key stakeholders including, manager, employee, Legal, as well as build and maintain partnerships to foster trust and accountability

• Develop people-oriented programs to positively impact change management, drive engagement and strategically align with Organization’s people vision

• Define and document current state process and conduct business requirement gathering sessions to understand the desired future state

• Assist with implementation of change management actions from all organizational restructuring activities

• Lead the organization assessment and provide guidance on team improvement to increase Organization engagement

• Resolve moderately complex HR issues conferring with managers when necessary

• Assist progressively larger or more complex employee populations and participate on crossfunctional projects

• Key contributor in managing internal projects from initiation through completion

• Execute project plans, identify resources, and drive change management strategies

• Understand the business well enough to envision the future in order to effectively drive and accelerate change, at the same time ensure strategic alignment between business needs and HR priorities

• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

• Develop hands-on working relationships with business partners at all levels of the company

• Assist the department head in providing legal training in a focused and consistent manner and in accordance with company's compliance policy

• Build development process with all staff across the company and help ensure that process is executed with the members of the AZ India leadership team.

• Finalize & publish office handbook & policies and developing HR process, such as onboarding/termination/RPM/training process

• Finalize employee benefit & payroll grade & bonus plan

• Ability to prepare staffing budget and forecasts.

• Knowledge of how to read HR statistics for preparing relevant reports.

• Collect relevant compensation and benefits data from key competitors to analyze practices and trends within the industry.

• Manage the recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employee

• Lead the annual salary review, develop the RPM process and monitor the performance

• Act a liaison between India Office and Store Support Center HR Department. Troubleshoots breakdown in communication and work process.
